Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Invitation Studio ("we", "us") collects when you use this invitation website, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Account details: the email address and password you use to sign up (handled by Google's Firebase Authentication — we never see your password).
• Invitations you create: the title, date, venue, wording and settings you enter. Anyone with an invitation's link can see it.
• Guest replies: when a guest RSVPs, we store the name they type, their reply (yes, maybe or can't make it), how many people are coming, any note they add, and the time. Only the invitation's host can see the guest list.
• Payments: subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details; we never see or store them. We receive your plan, a Stripe customer ID and a subscription ID.
• Waitlist: if you join the waitlist, we store your email and the plan you picked.
• On your device: a guest's browser remembers that they already replied, so they aren't asked twice. This stays on their device.

How we use it

To run the service: show invitations, collect and display replies, enforce plan limits, take payments, and contact you about your account or plan. We do not sell your information and we do not show ads.

Who else handles it

• Google (Firebase) stores accounts and data.
• Stripe processes payments.
• Cloudflare hosts the website.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.

Hosts and guests

Hosts decide what information to ask guests for and are responsible for using guest replies appropriately, including for events that involve children. Please don't ask guests for sensitive information.

Children

This service is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly create accounts for them.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your information while your account is active. To delete your account, an invitation or a guest reply, email us at rohaansiddiqui@hotmail.com and we will remove it, except where we must keep records (for example, payment records).

Security

We use reputable providers and access controls, but no online service is completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
